The 2017 Defensive Player of the Year is... it's a tie! Patrick Dunaway, CB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Frank Lovett, RDE for the San Francisco 49ers, are co-DPOYs!

Dunaway led the league with 29 knocked down passes, and then racked up 117 tackles, allowed only 32% of the 206 passes in his direction to be completed, and got 5 INTs.

Lovett led the league with 34 sacks, added 27 tackles, allowed 2 of 13 passes in his direction to be completed, had 2 knocked down passes, and got an interception.

The odd man out was Charles Weiss, the SS for the Carolina Panthers, who led the league with 142 tackles, added 5 knocked down passes, and only allowed 27 catches on 88 targets.

Congratulations to Patrick Dunaway, Frank Lovett, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers!
