Rams come close but lose against Vikings

The Rams almost pulled off the upset last game but fell short 40-37 here in Los Angeles. The loss takes the Rams out of playoff contention this year. Gilbreath played well, Ngo played good except for an interception. The Vikings Held was just too much for this defense. Rarely tackled by the first defender the Rams found out just how good he is. He most likely will be the Leagues rushing champ when the season ends.

The Rams go to play the Colts in Indianapolis and things don't look to be any easier there. The Colts have the top seed for now in the AFC.

Maybe the Rams can play spoiler or if they lose, a lottery team?

It was a crazy ending. When Callahan scored with 1:25 left i thought that was dagger because it would take a last second TD to win. Sedgwick did a great job in the hurry up, converting on 4th & 9 to Case, then finding Held sneaking out of the backfield for the game winner. There were some great blocks that sprung that play. The defense held on the last :30 so we luckily escaped with the W.

Nice job, good game.

Thanks, it was a fun game. Those 4th down conversions were tough. I thought we were going to be okay to being blown out to coming back to coming up short.
