LA traveled across the country to NYC to take on the Giants to open the season. It will be a long flight home. They were beaten 33-21 to add insult to injury. Newly acquired RB Jason Franke hurt his ankle and could miss some games. He was brought in to give the offense some options running the football and catching passes out of the backfield. He may be used on special teams to catch kicks.
The Ram defense was unable to stop the Giants. Baker was 19-21 for 201 yards 3 TD, and a 146.13 passing rating.
For LA, Ngo was 23-31 262 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT. and a 117.94 rating. He was sacked 4 times.
Witt led the receivers with 9 snags for 69 yards, Gilbreath caught 3 for 94 yds.
Lyons led the D with 11 tackles. The Rams couldn't put any pressure on the NY Quarterback and didn't get a sack.
The Rams play the LA Chargers next game.
Injuries include Jason Franke, Moss, Gable, Katz.
