The Chargers were stingy last night, keeping the Rams out of the end zone in a 15-12 win.
After a missed 38 yard FG by Boyd the Chargers struck first with a 16 yard Ian Bradley to William Adams TD pass to go up 7-0.
The Rams put together a nice 10 play, 61 yard drive that took 5:04 off the clock but only worth 3 points. The Rams next scoring drive was a 5 play 17 yard drive resulting in a 48 yard FG. LA Chargers 7 LA Rams 6. Halftime.
The Rams had two more FG's in the third quarter of 30, 35 yards to go up 12-7 heading into the 4th Quarter. But the 4th belonged to the Chargers as there were many Ram mistakes, a Ngo fumble and Interception, and some sacks. The Chargers put up another TD and 2 point conversion to go up 15-12 and win the game.
The Rams have yet to force a takeaway and are now -5, second worst in the League to Tennessee. The Rams have to get it together quickly because Seattle is in town next. It doesn't get any easier either Dallas comes next with Kansas City and Washington.
The reality of being 0-6 is something that could easily happen. The Rams injured include WR Collins, RB Gilbreath, SLB Ho, DT Kearney, LDE Nelson, SS Weis, RB Franke, LG Moss, C Gable. All players besides Gable are probable. Gable will sit out.
