Kansas City fans are asking the question, "Are these guys really good, or do they really stink?" That seemed to be the question after Kansas City won a week 10 battle against Cleveland 27-15. The win gives the team a 4 game winning streak. The winning streak should be enough to say the team is pretty good, but here are some numbers to digest. In game 10, Michael Harris (QB) put up the following: 23/47, 306yds, 3TD. Seemingly nice numbers until you look at the one number missing from the game line, INT. Well, he had 6
. Bad news is - that's a lot for one game. Good news is- the team somehow overcame. Harris was not the only one with the hot/cold meter running. The team had 4 fumbles
, and a missed FG. Good news is- only 1 penalty for 5 yards.
Head coach, Bob Tookes had this to say about the team, "I am very concerned about our turnover rate the last couple games. However, I am very happy this team sticks together and picks each other up after a turnover."
One more thing Kansas City has to overcome moving to the end of the season- the injury bug. Week 10 has put star receiver William Martin, and DE Ricardo Kemp on the bench. Kemp's injury could keep him out the rest of the season.
So, as the season winds down, Kansas City has to ask themselves the following question, "Are we good enough to contend for a title this year?" Only time will tell...
